Loads of frustrated F1 wannabees on the M1 today - all those BMWs/Audis/Alfas must be seriously underpowered if they need a 'tow' to overtake on an almost empty carriageway!

Yeah, sad isn't it? All those car morons, tut.

You are Doug AICMFP.

Failing that, and this is a general point not apropos of this thread,
please enlighten us about your lifestyle that lets you tut away like
some sort of inane hen.

Where are we going and why am I in this handbasket?

Since when has a particular "lifestyle" allowed, or otherwise, someone to
hold and express a particular point of view?

He's not me, I am.

Quite true, he's him and I'm me. Viva le difference.

I thought as much.  I've encountered that one in the past too.

Well you seem to be leaping on anyone whose lifestyle includes using the
motorcar to get from A to B so I'm just wondering what puts you on the
moral high ground so. The "four wheels bad" mantra does get rather
wearing after a while.

Nope, that is not my viewpoint and never has been. I am a car user myself,
have been for some 35 years and have even earnt my living driving.

Had it occured to you that Brimstone may be a lorry driver - simply
dismissive of car drivers in the same way some here refer to "lorry morons"?

IIRC, he explicitly stated he's not yesterday, in the Speed Limiter thread.

I don't think he is.

If you're not on somebody's sh.t list, you're not doing anything
worthwhile.

I guess it's more dramatic to sit on someone's rear bumper and suddenly
swerve out to overtake.

If any of these were overtaking you, were they looking in their rear view
mirror with a sneer or a contemptuous look as they got in front?
Just to see if you got the message, I suppose.

Yep - I suppose it gives them a 'what an overtake that was' feeling!

Works for Volvos, MANs Scania & Iveco a lot of them have over 400bhp.

I'd take back my BMW if I needed to slipstream someone to overtake on a Motorway at 70mph!
