Drivers side heated seat got really hot, burnt my leg slightly then stopped working. Others have said VW had a recall for this. I rang VW but they had to recollection of such a recall. I think Dave is trying to point out that there may not have been a recall here for this problem but maybe the problem may have manifested itself on US cars resulting in a recall in the US, as happened on my colleague's Honda no recall in the UK but a recall for the same fault in the USA! > That's a UK recall site - might be worth looking for a USA one as well. > > BTW what model VW? I think if there *had* been a UK recall, it would be easy to find on the net. Tim |
