Torque settings

To please "diy-newby", who was 'complaining' that it is quiet here,  heres a
question for you.  Looking in the owners hand book for my 06 Passat. the
wheel bolt torque setting is shown as 120.Nm that seems a little high to me.
(about 90 - 95 ft-lbs)
What do you think.

IIRC it usually used to be in the region of 81 ft-lb, but surely the
manual is correct? I'd hope so.
