Hi their

I currently having issues with my heater, it only blows cold air
(occasional warm when i first start her up) i hear their could be all
sort of issues, bypass valves, air locks. I was wondering if any one
has any ideas on how to fix this problem. Also is possible to get a
picture of a bypass valve so i can see if mine has one.

Thanks
andy

It's a fairly obvious "thing" attached to the pipe going into the firewall
to the heater matrix. I'd have a go at bleeding the system by cracking open
the higher up hoses a small amount - I had to tdo this on my 16V to get the
right amount of coolant back in - it helped that I a) knew the coolant
capacity and b) was measuring how much I was putting in.

Don't mix G12 pink / orange anti freeze with normal stuff either.

And by the way, it's there to stop weak heater matrices from bursting...
