Hi all, just wondering if it`s worth getting VAG-Com for my 52 plate Passat. I`m not a huge tinkerer, but would like to be able to activate any extra features on this car - remote window rolling, doors locking as I start driving, that kind of thing. Would this be possible using VAG-Com, and if so does anyone have a decent site that has the relevant codings? I did this and bought a cheap interface from ebay. You must download the shareware VAG-COM first to test it with your interface. Once it's recognised by VAG-COM then you can buy the full version. I paid about £30 for my interface and it works fine on all VAG motors I've tried up to and including a 2003 Passatt.
