Hi Group

My Golf 2.0 litre diesel has developed an odd habit, it has decided to warn
me every time I go over 20 mph even outside a 20 mph speed limit. Any ideas
anyone? Its driving me mad.

That may not be far enough!

Our A4 had an option to set a speed warning. I think you pressed the check
button when you were driving at the speed you wanted to be warned about. I
guess the procedure in the Golf will be different but it sounds like it's
the same feature. I'd check the manual.

There's a configurable speed warning- or at least there is in my Leon,
which is practically a Mk5 Golf. Look in your handbook.
