Hello All

I have a Polo, 2008 model, fitted with the 70PS (51kw) 3 cylinder diesel
engine and recently carried out a fuel consumption check, gaining some
results that surprised me.

Has anyone done similar checks, preferably for steady motorway driving at
around the legal maximum? I would be very interested in hearing the results
obtained during a practical test, rather than the urban, extra-urban and
combined governmentally sponsored tests. I do have these quoted figures and
my actual consumption differs rather wildly from these, hence my interest in
obtaining a practically obtained comparison.
