I have a 53 plate LT35.
Last night whilst on thr motorwat it began to miss fire. As if there was no
fuel just for a second. It did this several times untill I pulled over. It
only did it at above approx 3000 rpm. It aslo did it when not loaded, i.e.
whilst not traveling.
The AA recoverd me without looking too hard at what might be wrong! The chap
told me it would be dirty fule. On arriving home I had to start the enging
to get it off the low loader. The glow plug light was now flashing.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

First check your brake lights, though that's unlikely to be the issue as
you have a misfire.

You need someone with VAG-COM or a dealer. Have a look at one of the VAG
forums (for any marque- Seat/Skoda/VW/Audi), and you'll probably find
someone prepared to scan it for you for beer money.

As Chris told you in his reply, you'll need to get it scanned. Where are you
located? I can do it but I'm in Melksham, Wilts. Or check out the VAG-COM
Register for someone more local.
Cheers,
