MAF REVISITED

Thank you to all that responded.
Let it be known that I have now bought and tried 3 different torq sets all
with a hole up the middle.

None fitted

I have however got the MAF out by low cunning and adaptation,  and it was
spotlessly clean at 30K miles.
Oh well! Treat it as a learning situation from which others may benefit.

Very strange. All VAG MAFs that I have seen have been fitted using Torx
security screws. Perhaps your MAF has been fitted with some other type of
screw?
