The airconditiong in the my above vehicle has ceased to work. If I apply
power to the clutch on the a/c unit it engages and cools perfectly. I have
tried various suggestions from the Brickboard website, but still can't solve
the problem. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated. Thanks.

Is the pressostate on the filter/dryer cannister bad? It's a common failure,
standard GM part you can pick up at any parts store and it has a schrader
valve under it so you can replace it without opening the system.

Yes thanks for that James, I have actually unplugged that and bypassed it.
Still no go.

I assume the fuses are all good? Is the thermal protector on the compressor
open? Does it engage if you turn the defroster on?

Where can I find the a/c relay? It dosen't seem to be with the others behind
the fuse panel  [near ashtray]
I do appreciate your time!!

I have no idea unfortunately, your car is a generation newer than the
pre-update 740s I'm familiar with, it might be listed in the owners manual
though.
