My 1990 240 has developed some play in the output bearing in the
transmission.  Anyone know what a ballpark estimate for having a new
bearing and seal installed?  My mechanic, who doesn't do much with
automatic transmissions, recommended the local Kennedy Transmission
(Lake Street in Minneapolis, for locals) as being a good resource.

Thanks!

I would expect it to be a couple hundred bucks, any tranny shop should be
able to give you a close estimate.

Thanks.  I was guessing somewhere around $400 so $200 would be nice.

a new seal and bearing is very cheap  its just logic and time to remove the
bearing just cut it along its inner area till its thin then use a screw
driver to remove it or get a mechanic to push it out its so easy even I did
it .
