This is different from the older ones, so I'm having an extremely
difficult time figuring out how to remove the cluster. Anyone know how
to do it?

This might help:
http://www.swedishbricks.net/700900FAQ/Electrical-Instruments1.html#740%20Instru
ment%20Cluster%20Removal
But the cluster on a '91 740 was a bit different, as there were two
slots, or holes, on each side of the cluster face, and I had to stick
a screw driver in there "just so" in oreder to pry it loose.
