92 240GL center console lights

Have replaced the instrument cluster lights.
Now replaced bulbs in center console behind the three buttons for
defrost/floor/recirculate.
With the lights turned on the light is visible behind the buttons but is
obviously not in the proper location.
Where is the correct socket located to insert it back into. I don't recall
that this was actually in a holder/socket before I took the center console
apart.

    Heh. I did the same thing, and just left it that way. IIRC, the
lights go right into the backs of the buttons.

I don't remember where it goes honestly, but I know there's a place to stick
it. I need to replace the bulbs in one of the family 240s so I'll pay
attention when I do it.
