Took the v70 in for an oil change, the tech said a rear caliper seized
and was able to free it up and changed the pads.
Following this the car makes a loud groaning to shuddering noise from
the rear brakes but only if the car has been driven for some distance
i.e on the highway.
The tech thought the rear rotors needed changing, this was done, the
problem improved somewhat but the groaning can still be induced
following a long 20-30 minute drive.
Any ideas?

I'm no brake expert, but rotor problems tend to show up every time
you brake, while caliper problems can be intermittent. Since the
calipers stuck once, they may be sticking again when hot.
