Hi, Can anyone tell me where I can find the reversing switch on the
Volvo S40, please? My reverse lights will not go off and I was told
to change this but I have no idea!!!

I have a V40 of that year but have not looked for myself, but the Haynes
manual says that it is located at the rear of the transmission casing on
the left side of the differential housing. The photo seems to indicate
that it is relatively easy to get at, and I think, but am not totally
certain, that access is from below, rather than through the bonnet.
(With the GDI and turbo models it is on the upper face of the
transmission.)
