Presumably, you do one hinge at a time?
Is this the same basic procedure to use on a 145? I can see at least
one broken wire in a hinge on my '72.

I've always done both at a time, taking the entire tailgate off in the
process. I mark the hinge alignments on the body with a dry erase marker.

Yes, one hinge at a time. The 145 is exactly the same setup as the 245
(actually since the 145 came first it should be said the other way
around).
