Is there a way to get into the base (single) CD player to see what, if
anything, is inside that causes the error? I can insert a CD and it
will generate the CD Error message after some whirring. I can get it
re-ejected as well. It just won't play. I don't know if a CD is
already in there, because i wasn't driving it this week.
I had it at the dealer last week - hope it's not related to that.
Thanks,
G

G,
If it's a new car under warranty I wouldn't bother trying to figure it
out, just take it to the dealer and let them sort it.
I just had a HU-803 replaced under warranty on a 2003 S60 as it was skipping
like crazy on a load of CDs.

Graham,
OK. I live a bit away from the dealer, so was hoping to avoid the
hassle, but get your point.
Thanks,G
