volvo 850 air con question, some help

hi

been told my air con is leaking, still waiting for the dye to work its
way through, but been told it could be heater/exchanger unit, how
diffecult to change, 1996 2.5 850.

Most likely the evaporator (interior heat exchange coil as opposed to he
exterior heat exchange coil that would be the condensor).

Vrtually all the dash board components need to be removed. On a DIY
scale of 1 to 10, 1 being the easiest, it's an 11. When you change out
the evaporator be sure to retrofit/change the pollen filter as well.
