240 door assembly

How do you detach the top (next to the speaker) of the door handle on
a '92 240? It seems to be attached from inside, but the inside cap is
made of plastic and is smooth, nothing to grab with wrench. Since its
plastic, I don't want to much pressure, or it might crack.

You rotate the handle until the tabs slip out of the slots, once you have it
out it'll be obvious but it's a bit difficult to describe. It has a peg with
two small "wings" on it that twist-lock into a slotted hole.
