1986 240 dl Rear Signal Lights Aren't Working

They just stopped working , I replaced the 8amp fuse, but still no luck.
Any tips on fixing this are very appreciated.

DJ -

Check the wiring harnesses for the taillight assemblies in the back of the car. You
might have a flakey connection at one or both.  I remember on my car, an '84, that the
rear lights share a common ground wire.

But the rear signal lights aren't on the tailgate. First thing I'd check is
the bulb failure sensor.
