I hear, from time to time, about Volvo radio exchange programs where you
UPGRADE you unit to one with more capacity, say to CD. The dealers I have
talked with so far talk only about a "core" exchange program where you
replace a poorly working unit with a factory rebuilt one. Does anybody know
of the upgrade program I am looking for? Thanks Brad

You should be able to upgrade your radio.
You will need to pay a core charge and a price difference
between what you have and what you want.
I have seen it done at Volvo dealerships without any problem.
You did not specify what model of Volvo you have.
1999 and later will need to have a SW download.
