I had the above programme bought for me by my Father as part of a package
and installed it on my laptop.

I had the laptop stolen and had a replacement laptop.

I still have the Microsoft Word disk but cannot find the serial number to
install in my new P.C without the number I do not believe I can install it,
any advise please as I don't want to have to buy another package as I am a
Student.

Not sure what this has to do with Volvo cars!

If you have a pukka disc, you should have an Authenticity Certificate with
serial number as an insert in the CD jewel case.

If you don't have this, I would venture to suggest that your disc may be
pirated!

If this is not the case, and if your insurance company paid for a
replacement for your stolen laptop, surely they will pay for software
replacements as well?
