Hello all. About six weeks ago I had to rebuilt the auto transmision of my
1996 850. Six weeks later the tranny
still shift rough in one particular gear( not sure wich one ) at circa 35
MPH. All other gears at any speed
seem fine. The popping shifting is more noticible when the transmission is
hot.

I took the car back to the tranny shop two weeks after the repair and the
shop owner told me that there is not adjustment that can be made for this
particular tranny and he also said that I shouldn't worry because there is
no danger that the rebuilt transmission would brake because it snaps in one
gear.

I have a warranty of one year but I'm concerned that sooner or later the
tranny will brake on my again if I don't do anything about it.

I would appreciate any suggestion.

Thank you,

Pier
