OK I have been helped her before.  My non-turbo 740 was belching black smoke
a while back and I was able to remedy things by cleaning up the contacts at
the air mass meter.  At least I thought I had.  The last few days the
symptoms are appearing again and my fix is not working this time.  Where can
I be looking next.

Thanks,

Kirk

Check the vacuum hose at the fuel pressure regulator. If it has fuel in
it, replace the regulator.

Replacing my O2 sensor fixed that problem for me.
