Hello

Can anyone tell me the trailering capacity of the 740, 840, and 940 Volvo models is?

I know that the 240s with the 2.3 motor can tow a 3,300 lb trailer

740 models?

850 models?

940 models?

Thanks
Christopher

There is no 840.  You must mean the 850.

From http://www.volvoclub.org.uk/pdf/towing-specs.pdf the maximum load
capacities are:

240  3300 pounds = 1500 kg

740  3300 pounds = 1500 kg

850  3520 pounds = 1600 kg

940  3520 pounds = 1600 kg

For maximum trailer capacity use maximum tire pressure in your car.
This increases the load capacity and stability of the car in pulling a
trailer.
