The Sylvania Silverstars are a vast improvement over the stock bulbs for
the 240. I can see again! Makes these dark, wet winter nights much easier...
thanks for the pointer. (I think it was Rob Guenther...  Nice one Rob!)
Anyone having trouble with those large but ineffective light units in
the 240 should buy a pair of these..  :o)

Or get a pair of glass European headlights and redo the wiring with relays
and heavy wires. You'll be blown away.

"Why of course the people don't want war. But after all, it is the
leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it is always a
simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or
a fascist dictatorship, Voice or no voice, the people can always be
brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to
do is to tell them that they are being attacked, and denounce the
pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger."

Glad to hear you like them!!

I can't wait till our 1993 960 burns out it's headlights ;-)

And the 2003 Golf

My 1999.5 Golf is the only car in our little fleet blessed with good light
(but this one does the most at-night driving, by far - I might get
Silverstar lamps for its highbeams too :-) )
