What is the best way to attach the rear spoiler on 1998 V70?

Dealer said 2 sided tape was used on these......is there some kind of
bracket that can be used??

thanks

When the spoiler is factory fitted, there's a pair of brackets built into
the tailgate - and the spoiler bolts onto these.

The spoiler is never fitted with 2 sided tape.
There's only one way and that is how Bonnet Lock described it above.
A dealer should know this and should be able to mount it just as if it
were factory fitted.

Mine was factory fitted and it was done properly. One time when I had my
V70 at the carwash, the dry-robot's 'eye' overlooked the spoiler and as
a result of that the robot's arm lifted my V70 by it's rear-spoiler for
about 5 cm. After I stopped the machine by the 'hazzard knob' the owner
put the machine in reverse and so the car was placed back onto the
ground. But most importantly: neither the car or the spoiler were
damaged! Can you imagine what would have happened when it was fitted
with 2-sided tape????
