Thanks Glenn ... I don't know the code number. But they explained that the
passenger side bag circuit had a break in the wiring and they would have to
take the dash off to investigate.

That does not sound kosher to me I would get a 2nd opinion from another
source a independent Volvo specialist or another Volvo dealer as the
whole thing does not sound right to me as I have been repairing Volvo's
for a long time & never have heard of what they told you so please get
another opinion before letting the 1st place perform any repairs

I have seen this exact scenario once. Intermittently the SRS light
would come on with code 222, we swapped airbags with another car, same
problem. A new airbag harness was suggested as the next fix, however
funds were not available for this project.
