I have agreed value policy (appraisal) with the Insurance Corp. of British Columbia. Full replacement is $11,500 USD. I have put that into parts and paint, not including labor. I am fairly firm on the price, and must regrettably sell it. I can give you my phone number if you would like to discuss further. Thanks....Mik

Thanks James thats a great analogy. You are right, you are getting a new car, and if anyone has taken the time to view the restoration pictures, they know the value here. Im talking about the stripping of the old paint down to bare steel, with no rust
Also, the metal on this little brick is a lot thicker than any Kia. Lastly, the looks...I get SO many people coming up to this car, telling me stories like "I had an old boyfriend, uncle, professor, who had a car like this, It brings back memories YADA YADA YAD
This car won Best Import at a car show in May 05 and there were about 100 cars there. Thanks Mik

Global Television from Vancouver has contacted me to use my car on thier show "Driving Television" here is the email I received yesterday.
Hi Michael
We'd like to have your car on Driving Television. I looked at your web-site, and it looks good. I used to own a 1963 P1800 in a very similar colour.
Our next studio dates are July 19 and 20 and August 23 and 24. Are you able to make it on either of those dates? Let me know. Thanks

If you have a look at my pictures on my webpage, you can see I already own a S70, which my wife drives as a daily driver. I much prefer driving the 544
Regarding the price. I will not jack the price up, I feel I am asking a fair price and as an added bonus the new owner will have a video copy of the show fearturing thier car on "Driving Television" I think that will be cool. Thanks for your input....Michae

What is sad is that I am having problems getting the time off work for the Driving Television shoot. If there is a new owner of my car and they are in the Vancouver area, they can take the car to the filming of the show. If I still own the car, I might get someone to take it there for me. I will give the new owner a copy of the show. MIk
