02 V70XC A/C Cabin Fan Continue Running after Engine Off

My 2002 Volvo V70XC (Cross Country) cabin fan turns on and runs at high
speed a few minutes after I turn off the vehicle and runs at high speed
for an undetermined length of time (I've never timed to see how long).

This only happens on hot days when I park in my garage after running
the car for a few hours.

Is this normal?

Yes, it's to dry out the air conditioner evaporator so it doesn't grow mold.
