I hope this post doesn't violate any group policy and if so I
apologize. I'm looking at this more from the making-an-offer
perspective than an advertisement perspective. Regardless, if it's
against etiquette, I'm sorry 'bout that.

I am no longer able to store my '83 244 GL Diesel, and need to sell.
Being a Volvo group, I figured I'd see if anyone wants the car. I'm
thinking real cheap - maybe $200.

The car runs, but the head gasket is bad. It smokes a lot and burns
through a lot of coolant. Obviously, repair is in order. The body is
mostly straight (minor damage to a wheel well), and the interior has
cracks and the leather seats need reupholstery. It has been in storage
for a while, so if there's something else wrong I don't know about it.
If not a project, then maybe a parts car. For what it's worth, the
5-speed transmission is damn near perfect.

I'd love to keep the car myself, but don't have the time to work on it
or a good place to keep it. If anyone is interested, let me know.
