Had a ECU B5 code 243 right belt, short to ground

checked all the wiring and harnasses, all ok, replaced
belt unit, reset ECU... still getting code.

Are SRS codes resettable via the normal ECC procedure? (read codes, then
hold button, wait for
long light, hold again) or will it wait for some number
of cycles of "good" behavior to reset? (or can only
a dealer reset it?)

Yes they read and reset the same way, with the lead in B5.

(But I check the newsgroup more often than this email address.)
