Hi All,
I have a 94 850 T5 estate, and the cruise control won't engage at all - it
went intermittent for about a week, then died all together.
Any ideas?
Cheers,
Shane.

Put you foot under the brake pedal and pull up (i.e. move the pedal in
the opposite direction you normally move it), then try the cruise again.

The vacuum pump for the cruise control lives under the battery tray
towards the motor. The vacuum lines from the pump run along the fender
at the other end of the battery tray. Usually the hard plastic vacuum
lines perforate from battery acid. Clip out the bad spots and slip a
rubber hose over the cut ends. Amazingly the vacuum pump seldom goes
bad.
