I wanted to add a set of side markers to my 1998 S70.  I have done this
before years ago on an old 740.

I'll probably get the kit from IPD. But, is anyone familiar with the
connectors on the lights themselves (square one's)?.

I'd like to avoid getting the harness, which is very pretty expensive, and
wire it myself.  Thanks!

  "*-344-*Never Forgotten"
Is for the New York City Firemen who lost their lives on September 11,2001.
The official count is 343, but there was also a volunteer who lost his life
aiding in the initial rescue efforts. And I will never forget them as
long as I live,
nor should any American.

Glenn...

Thanks for the article.  But what I am trying to find out is what type of
connectors are on the back of the lights.  If there is a plug and a pigtail,
I can just splice in and wire them up.  If there is a special connector and
boot, then I would be forced into getting the harness, which goes for about
$47 I think...

thanks!

If they're the same as the markers for a 740, the connectors are identical
as used for the windshield washer pumps on 240s as well as a few other less
accessible areas on the car. If you have a junkyard nearby you can get them
easily.
