Does anyone know how to remove the dash so I can replace a broken lightbulb?
It is a 1999 V70 XC.
Thanks,
Pete

1:) Close the vents on the driver side & the center vents then remove
the grilles
2:) once the drivers door is opened on the side you will see a vent
remove the round cover from the bottom be careful not to lose this
3:) Remove 6 Torx screws from the dashboard & the instrument panel
4:) Remove the side vent from the dash pad
5:) Gently pull the dash away & up to gain access to the instrument
cluster you will see 2 latches unlatch both remove the connectors on top
2 & if there is a trip computer remove the connector for the trip computer
6:) Remove the cluster
7:) Replace the 4 bulbs in the center replace with 5Watt brighter @
night & replace the 2 turn signal bulbs these are a bulb & socket
complete the trip computer uses the same bulb as the turn signals

Is for the New York City Firemen who lost their lives on September 11,2001.
The official count is 343, but there was also a volunteer who lost his life
aiding in the initial rescue efforts. And I will never forget them as
long as I live,
nor should any American.

Replace tt with t (twice!) and remove parentheses to email me directly.
(But I check the newsgroup more often than this email address.)
