Lately the dash mounted outside temp indicator drops in temp 40°F or so,
then after a few miles, comes back to normal.  Does this affect engine
operation?  Where is the sensor located?  Any fix?

Thanks
JAY

The sensor is mounted in the R/S mirror assembly in the US.
The sensor is available by it self

The official count is 343, but there was also a volunteer who lost his life
aiding in the initial rescue efforts. And I will never forget them as
long as I live,
nor should any American.
