Hello all!

I would like to know if anyone knows if the number of times the wipers
sweep can be modified (lowered)when using the windshield wiper fluid?
Mine wipe about 3 times too many (on a dry windshield by then) and it is
very annoying...

Thanks

Well.... I think it has to do with the software in the car.  You would
have to configure the actual software in the computer system I think...
and that is costly, unless you know computer programming.

I would expect that it is hardwired in the control unit. it
would be very surprising that they would have built in
possibilities to modify such a "basic" operation.
A technician might be able to tell you more.
I know that I would like to have more control over my
intermittent wiper setting on our S40. Our 12 year-old Ford
Probe has a variable setting which varies from 2 to 10 secs
or so - great for different conditions.

Thanks for your input.  I guess I will just live with it.
