From under the car, use a long (18") extension and universal joint on
your socket. (You don't need to take the bolt out of the hole it's in,
just leave it there, then thread it into the new starter.

You can also disconnect the transmission crossmember with a jack under
the end of the tranny and let it tilt back a bit for some more room.
