Help - 1995 -949 Volvo with Intermittent Stalling Problem

After spending $2,000, the dealer has not been able to fix the
problem. The car seems to stop feeding gas at slow speeds within the
first 2 miles after starting. This happens when slowing down to a
stop as well. It is difficult to restart after it stalls, but once
the gas goes through the car runs perfectly. The problem might not
occur until the following day.

The dealer replaced the rear engine speed sensor, ignition coil,
ignition cable, relay switch, suppressor switch, fuel injector, &
manifold gasket. Nothing has corrected the problem.

Please help!

Most probably an air leak in the in-tank pump pick-up piping. Generally
shows after tank has reached half-empty. See if it happens on a full tank.
If it does not happen on a full tank then pull the in-tank unit and check it
over for splits in the pick-up piping. Other than that the Fuel pump relay
and the Radio Suppression relay both can be contributory factors with this
symptom. The Radio Suppression relay usually sits on a strut tower under the
hood and is the power feed for all the injectors.
