Has anyone here ever tried putting a new kingsize mattress (160cm x 205cm)
in the back of a volve estate (sorry, don't know what model, just " a big
one"!)
If not, reckon it'll fit, diagonally, with a bit of squeezing/bending?
TIA

I have tried putting a queensize mattress into a 240 wagon (estate).
Ended up carrying it on the roof rack.

I got a Queen in the back of our 960.... had to kinda roll it a little
tho...... and it wasn't all that thick (one of those IKEA foam mattress's) -
an individual coil mattress with those extra cushions on each side would
never make it inside the car.... I'd pay the 50 bucks delivery, or rent a
van.

Errr, they want $151, so I ain't so keen! And yes it's one with springs
etc...sounds unlikely it'll fit then :o(
