Just got a used 1999 S80 with HU-611 radio. There is no speaker beneath
the center dash speaker grill. Is this speaker only there with the
better system? Is any one aware of a compartment/cupholder aftermarket
dropin for that center speaker hole? I am hoping the car will not loose
the radiator, gas tank, and ECU all at the same time. Are these all bad
bets for reliability?

Unless the ABS ECU has gone bad and been repaired/replaced already it's a
certainty that it'll go bad. If it does go you should be able to get it
repaired (Vitor/Victor?)

Check it's had its recall for the radiator fan replacement done.
