p1800 lettering on knobs

The white letters on the fan, lights, etc. buttons has worn off. Anyone
have any clues about how to retore these formerly white letters? THanks

New buttons is the simplest solution. Use of a fine artist's brush and
white tremclad is next.

knobs. What is "tremclad" and where do you get it?
