RE: 2000 C70.

With the car off, when I pull the stick to flash the brights, the lights go
on... pull again, lights go off...

Doesn't happen on my '98 S70, and I don't think this is the norm...

Does anyone have any ideas as to what might be going on?

Thank you!

On the C70 if you leave the lights on do they go off after so long? If so
it's the home light feature - you use it to light the way to your door...

My 98 V70 didn't do it but my 98 S80 does.

You might be right....

that could be it...

It does go off after a few minutes.. is this feature not in the '98 S 70?

I don't believe it is in the 98 cars. I'm pretty sure my V70 was one of the
early ones.

Get your VIN, ring your local dealer and ask them. Oh, and i've checked -
it's actually called "Home Safe".

I checked too, you're right!

I did read the book and must have forgot about this feature....

What it does - pull once, lights stay on 30 seconds...

but if  you pull a second time, they go off... as opposed to a straight pull
for 'flash'...

Thanks Shaun!
