Glove box 1996 850

The glove box is shut and will not open. I think the latch mechanism is
broken. Anyone have any remidies?? Is their a sprcial tool that can be
made to open it?

Thank you Stephen,
I used the drill and probe method and opened the door in about ten minutes.
The little pin on the pot metal casting was broken so I drilled an 1/8" hole
and epoxied a new pin into it. works great. Thanks again, John
