I just wanted to check because I see lots of 240 e-code lamps for sale
and I didn't know if they were interchangeable with the 740.

Thanks!
Jamie

So far someone has been kind enough to send me these 2 links. :
899 NOK per lamp:
http://www.biltema.no/carparts/carparts_c.asp?iSecId=1210&strCarId=Volvo
(Sweden has the same chain of Biltema stores too.)

Germany-- Wagner & Günther
http://www.w-und-g.de/willkommen.htm "Preislist". I notice (pg 19) that
original lamps for '87 is 177 Euro, aftermarkets 125 a piece.

I think I found the answer, and it's "No" according to some parts
manuals I've found.
