old turbo is really kicking in lately. Don't get me wrong, while I jest I
am learning plenty, thanks to all.
But what ever happened to Jamie and the $500 740 that he was rebuilding?
His project was never quite finished as I recall and the pictures were
great.

I'm still here. The Volvo is at the mechanics, where he's taking his
time putting the engine back in.
We had to wait forever to find crankshaft bearings, only to learn that
nobody had what I needed. Then the machine shop said they could make do
with only machining my crankshaft .010" and not .020". After that 4-6
week delay, we're back on track.
I should have the car back in mid-May. I'll have more pictures then.
