Depending on the car, you fashion a tin plate and sandwich it under the EGR
valve effectively blanking off the feed pipe. The EGR valve still opens but
no gas can pass. Improves MPG, cuts smoke, slight increase in power, but
much more eager at part throttle.

Any side effects on eco-test, after blanking the EGR off?
Does it make the check engine light turn on?
