I was wondering if anyone here knows whether this engine allows the removal
/ blanking of the EGR valve without problems ?

Thanks,
Nick

Works well on 700/900 models (particularly diesel versions). The best way is
to remove the pipe from the manifold and blank it off at that popint. Then
removing the EGR valve and applying blanking there. At this point it would
be worthwhile removing the controlling items (vacuum piping and vacuum
relays, electronic relay and associated barometric switch. The thermally
operated vacuum switch can be left in place.

All the best, Peter.
