I want to do the conversion like on Brickboard, and would like to know
if anyone can recommend where to buy a kit?

I see FCP Groton as some individual parts. I can't find much at IPD.
Any help?

Use 3 cans, that's close enough.

If you need a vacuum pump to evacuate the system, you can get surplus
window A/C compressors for under $10 from usamfg.net, you'll also need a
run capacitor for one though which they also have, 2.5uF IIRC. Email me
later if you need more details.

You know, I have a kit that I purchased on ebay last year, and decided
not to use. I think I purchased it for around 85.00.
If you are interested, I you could contact me. just email me at
larrynospam.raynor@gmail.com of course remove the nospam.

I have been trying to juggle economically three 240 wagons (an 89, a
91 and a 93). The A/C has never hit the part of the "next to do" on
the list.

Good luck, in any event.

Larry
