I have a 1998 UK spec V70 Classic with the standard fit Volvo alarm system
activated by the keyfob.

Is it possible to modify this alarm system to full closure i.e shuts the
electric windows (if open) on activation?

My previous cars all had full closure systems, and (admitted its because I
am lazy) I miss this feature on my V70.

Car doesn't have a sunroof.

Regards

There's no electronics in the power windows/sunroof, so this would have
to be added.

Replace tt with t (twice!) and remove parentheses to email me directly.
(But I check the newsgroup more often than this email address.)

Thought as much!  Not worth spending upwards of £300- £400 for a Class A
Thatcham full closure system - I'll just have to live with it.

Find it odd that a prestige car such as Volvo doesn't have this feature
build in as standard - even Vauxhalls and Fords had it as standard on some
models back in 98.

Thanks Mike.
